Winter Tracking 5 Day

This intensive five day experience will have you working eight disciplines of tracking. We are heading into the Maine Woods to track deer, turkey, porcupine, and many other residents of the forest, fields, and edges. In this experience you will learn how to tell who is making the tracks and sign, as well as what they were doing and when they passed through. We will also play some fun games to sharpen your ability to spot tracks and trail animals (and people) through different tracking substrates such as leaf litter and pine thatch. Bring a friend for this engaging and educational adventure.Dress for the weather.
Maine Primitive Skills School offers campsites to students during their stay at no extra charge. When preparing to arrive, plan as if you were going on a comfortable car camping experience.
