Hunting season is coming up soon. Join us this week to learn how to detect deer movement through bird alarms, better understand behavior through track and sign, track in difficult substrate, and increase your options and choices regarding the deer you take. We will also cover butchering and hide tanning if time allows.

Michael Douglas is a Maine Guide who has been teaching Tracking Skills for over thirty years. Join him in this hands on course that will take you in to the world of the white tailed deer.

Maine Primitive Skills School offers campsites to students during their stay at no extra charge. When preparing to arrive, plan as if you were going on a comfortable car camping experience.
