Power of Story pt. 2: Cultivating Shared Story
January 16 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The tools of telling effective story are what empower stories to be applied as profound and powerful tools. From recognizing the moment to understanding non-verbal cues, the story teller walks a razors edge of vulnerability and passion as they work to build effective and efficient connections between the wisdom of experience and a dynamic and diverse audience.
Crafting the story without a shared starting point is like building a house without a foundation. Flimsy words born of unrefined passion, while entertaining, lacks the depth and discernment needed to execute the right tools for the right task at the right time. A boisterous drunk annoys more than they empower while an impassioned and practiced story teller can provide empowering tools for a wide diversity of individuals at the same level as a motivational speaker or healer.
