This is the third generation of extensions and refinements of a vision initiated by Grandfather Stalking Wolf to find the common threads of efficient and effective living with the landscape as a species regardless of background, ethnicity, or geographic location. Recovery and Maintenance of ones “sacred fire” is the theme of the day workshop.

Skills Include:

-Tools to access productive personal mind states

-Clarifying your ecological ideal

-Mapping, from process to outcomes

-Establishing anchors and way points

The day long experience is a practical hands on lab. Bring a day back with water bottle, snacks and a lunch and dress for the outdoors.

This is an intense course of study designed for people willing to put in the work to discover and/or develop their own passions, perspectives, and beliefs. There are no short cuts to putting your own work into your own personal development. While these tools are time tested and often provide profound results, you are the “Guru” of your own journey. We can not give you the passion, self discipline, and discernment required for growth in these or any other skills. Therefore their is no exception to the prerequisites.

Maine Primitive Skills School offers campsites to students during their stay at no extra charge. When preparing to arrive, plan as if you were going on a comfortable car camping experience. You will have easy access to your vehicles during meals and before and after course times. Check out our “What to Bring” page and don’t hesitate to contact the school for more details.
