Nature Literacy: Patterns and Cycles

Understanding branching patterns for tree identification and the disturbances in baseline that help us track the weather and wildlife; your ability to read natural cycles will accelerate your learning, creativity, and adaptability. Achieving peak performance by accessing personal cycles and patterns in a manner that matches the rhythm of natural systems is our goal.
- Deciduous Tree ID and Use
- Field Meteorology (Reading and Forecasting local weather)

Maine Primitive Skills School offers campsites to students during their stay at no extra charge. When preparing to arrive, plan as if you were going on a comfortable car camping experience. You will have easy access to your vehicles during meals and before and after course times. Check out our “What to Bring” page and don’t hesitate to contact the school for more details.
