Nature Literacy: Mindfulness and Focus

Explore the skills and benefits of developing a deep nature connection that restores mindfulness and focus, as well as engaging fully in our own world or surroundings.
Activities will include:
- Needle Tree ID and Use
- Wildlife Tracking
- Aidless Navigation
- Overall Wellness
In this first evening we will share important foundations for integrating nature literacy into both home, school, and work. We will also cover methods for introducing these topics into daily life.
Maine Primitive Skills School offers campsites to students during their stay at no extra charge. When preparing to arrive, plan as if you were going on a comfortable car camping experience. You will have easy access to your vehicles during meals and before and after course times. Check out our “What to Bring” page and don’t hesitate to contact the school for more details.
