Nature Literacy: Edge Work
February 2 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
In this evening session of our continuing series we will each define our personal “edge” with a skill and use time tested performance based assesment tools to determine our next step. We will be detailing assesment skills found the world over; specifically, the organic methods of determining proficiency, growth, and challenge areas used by hunter-gatherer nomads around the globe to guide each other toward learning and growth.
Maine Primitive Skills School offers campsites to students during their stay at no extra charge. When preparing to arrive, plan as if you were going on a comfortable car camping experience. You will have easy access to your vehicles during meals and before and after course times. Check out our “What to Bring” page and don’t hesitate to contact the school for more details.
