Mid Spring Wild Edibles Workshop

This is the ideal time to start your foraging adventures for the year. Green shoots of countless varieties are popping out of the ground begging to be picked for you salads and wild roots are beckoning from beneath the freshly thawed soil. Regardless of your experience or skill level in regard to wild plants, we will help you push your edge and learn something new. Here are some of the plants we may encounter during this workshop: Dandelion, Plantain, Burdock, Yellow Dock, Day Lily, Jerusalem Artichoke, Pines, Cattail, Lamb’s Quarter, Yarrow, Coltsfoot, Jewel-weed, Japanese Knotweed just to name a few possibilities. Let’s see what the landscape brings us!
