Learning a new and useful skill, and doing so with other people in an unfamiliar environment  can be a joy, a nightmare, a breakthrough moment, or a life long transformative experience. In this workshop our theme is to share tools that develop mutually beneficial relationships that manifest bounty.  Participants should prepare for  a journey beyond the “conforming, storming, and norming” sequence into developing skills that last well beyond the “team building” event. Experience how hands on tasks toward a common practical goal creates a “tool box” that can be integrated into your everyday interactions with your peers, students, and children. Topics include:

Establishing Common Ground

Designing Process Toward Desired Outcomes

Cultivating and Maintaining Shared Story

Freedom, Breath-ability, and the Value of Solo Time

Honoring Individual Achievement and Group Progress

Making Space to Grow

Revisiting Process, Benchmarks, and Way points as Group Assessment

Maintaining Flow: Check-ins and Clarifying the Vision

An underlying theme is emphasis on maintaining ones own healthy foundation before, during, and after an investment in the people you serve. Refer to last weeks workshop on identifying and addressing imbalance, blockage, and lack.
