From ancient horse tails to complex asters, the edge has traditionally been the “go to” for foragers, herbalists, hunters, and trappers alike. We’ll share identifying features and lore of the plants of the edge, from field to forest to wetlands.

This is an outdoor program, class meets on the back lawn behind the Visitor Center. Please come prepared for the elements (weather, insects, etc).
