Elder Craft: Foundations
October 10 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
As we age, our Roles shift. How we provide service to our loved ones and community also changes. Folks with Adult “children” often find the transition from Empty Nest into Retirement uncertain, even lacking, leaving many of us craving support and guidance. We all want to be a “Good Grandparent”, but often shun the term “Wisdom Keeper”. Perhaps it is because it hints at additional and unwanted burdens, expectations, and responsibilities? In fact, nearly the opposite is true.
Growing old will always have its baggage. It can be exhausting. Being an Elder involves the same amount of effort, and is far more enjoyable than just growing old.
This series of courses is designed to help you step up to the plate (or out into the yard) and share a life time of hard earned, experienced based, perspective in a manner that benefits both you the ones you love. This first in the series includes:
Building a Foundation for Your Craft
Tracking Common Ground
Clarifying Your Ecological Ideal
This course is held around the fire on fair days, and around the wood stove during inclement weather. Wild crafted teas will be made available.
