Humans are one of the only species not paying attention to a universal language shared among our wild neighbors and what would it be like if you could understand it ?
Join master naturalist, teacher, and bird whisperer Dan Gardoqui for a day of learning how to tune into and understand the language of birds. Diving deep into observation techniques, interpreting bird behaviors and vocalization as well as shortcuts for finding bird predators.The day will include indoor learning and outdoor observations.
Dan Gardoqui has spent over 30 years of studying bird language, wildlife tracking, and nature connection. A Certified Wildlife Tracker and Registered Maine Guide, he has an MS in Natural Resources and served as Science Faculty at Granite State College.
Dan was science editor for the bird language book “What the Robin Knows” and is well-known for his uncanny bird mimicry skills as well as his “Learn a Bird” series on YouTube & Instagram TV. He currently runs Lead with Nature, where he offers nature-based consulting services and educational adventures.

Time:  Sunday, April 30th, 2022 9am  – 4pm

Limit: 12 Students
