All levels welcome, go home with your own large basket or two medium willow baskets.  Learn traditional Scottish willow basketry techniques such as twining, three-rod waling, English randing, round-base twining, and waled top border.  This workshop will be taught by Mary Lauren Fraser, of Massachusetts, who apprenticed to a basket maker in Scotland and now teaches throughout New England.  Find more info about Mary at her website: www.fraserbaskets.com.

Camp sites and a small dorm are available. Our apothecary serves as a kitchen if you plan on staying over night (no extra charge). Nightly campfire stories and songs as we weave are part of the experience.
