Apprenticeship Ricing School

Apprentices will learn traditional methods of propagating, responsibly harvesting, and processing wild rice. Emphasis will be on responsible procedures and documenting the increase in bounty/healthy ecosystems. Skills will also include proper poling technique, making and using ricing tools, ricing technique and ettiquette. Open to Apprenticeship program members only.
