Winter will be winding down and Spring Edibles lie dormant, yet ready. Learn to locate and harvest wild food sources available as the snow recedes and the thaw approaches, including Maples. The harvesting of maple sap and transforming it into sugar is one of Maine’s most rewarding pastimes. Learn as we prepare for and run through the entire process from selecting and tapping trees to boiling down sap into sugar using energy efficient rocket stoves.
