Bow Making

September 1 @ 10:00 am - September 9 @ 12:00 pm

| $100 – $700

Learn the science behind making a bow as you get hands on experience in the craft. Both primitive and modern wood working skills will be covered in the making of a serviceable hunting bow. We will start with selecting a stave from the woods and work toward a completely functional hunting bow.  Most of our time will be spent with hands on instruction while you craft your bow, but each night we will present a sequential aspect of bow design and craftsmanship.  The full 8 days is encouraged for beginning bow makers, but we also offer the option to purchase “Day Passes” in increments of 1 day.  If you are short on time or have a bow you are already working on and want some advice on how to proceed with making a bow you can drop in for as many days out of the 8 that you would like and Join us between 9am and 8pm.

Bowmaking proves as much a philosophy as an art
